<<PAMICO: Paradoxical Misfits Collective>>
'부적응'은 단순한 결핍이 아닌 창조적 원천이 된다. 이곳에 모인 작가 15인은 세상이 요구하는 틀과 들어맞지 않았고, 이는 그들에게 큰 이탈감을 안겨주었다. 다르다는 것은 이들을 깊은 부적응 상태로 몰아넣었으나, 역설적으로 그들을 하나로 모은 계기가 되었다. 'Pamico (Paradoxical Misfits Collective)'는 그들만의 고유한 작업세계를 극대화하며 서로의 다름을 포용하고자 한다. 한곳에 모였을 때 더 와해될 것 같던 개인들은 오히려 함께 뭉쳐 빛을 발한다. 모든 비주류가 수용되는 이곳에서는 독창적인 미적 세계를 마음껏 펼칠 수 있다. <<PAMICO>>는 작가들의 고유한 개성과 이념을 세상에 선보이며 미술의 경계에 대한 확장을 도모한다.
Being a 'misfit' is no longer just a deficiency, but rather a creative source. The 15 artists we have here never did good with the frame that society was asking, which led to their feeling of being a misfit. Being different drove them to the state of maladjustment. But paradoxically, it also served as a trigger to bring them together. 'Pamico (Paradoxical Misfits Collective)' is aims to maximize their intrinsic view of art and to embrace their differences. Individuals, that seemed to be disintegrated if brought to one, rather shines when they unite. Here, where every non-mainstream views are embraced, distinctive artistic world views can be expanded limitlessly. The purpose of <<PAMICO>> is to present the artist's intrinsic characteristic and vision to the world meanwhile pushing the boundary of art.
